The "Music for a Midsummer's Eve" Concert Series features outstanding young up and coming artists most of whom are from the Eastman School of Music, but who come from all over the world. The first four concerts will take place at 7:30pm in the Geneva Room in the Warren Hunting Smith Library on the campus of Hobart and William Smith Colleges. Admission to the concerts is free and open to the public. A free-will donation of non-perishable food items, or $5, is suggested, to benefit Catholic Charities and the food banks of the Center of Concern and the Salvation Army.

The concert on August 29th will be at 2:30pm at Houghton House on the campus of Hobart and William Smith Colleges. Theres is a suggested donation of $10, to be used for the restoration and framing of an art treasure from the collection of Hobart and William Smith Colleges that will be on display at the concert.

Funding for this series was provided by the George D. and Frieda B. Abraham Foundation.
