Once on the New York State Thruway (I-90) from either direction, go to Exit 42. Proceed on Route 14 South and travel about 6 miles into town. After the proceeding through the fourth stop light, you will come to a stop sign. Take a right onto Senceca Street. The Smith Opera House is located at 82 Seneca Street.
From the west, Routes 5 and 20 lead directly to Geneva. After passing through the large commercial district and eventually under an overpass. At the next stoplight, take a left onto Castle Street. Take the first left (at the stop light) onto Exchange Street. Take a right onto Seneca Street. The Smith Opera House is located at 82 Seneca Street.
The fastest route from New York City, from the George Washington Bridge, is via I-80 West to I-380 North; pick up I-81 North to Binghamton, where you follow Route 17 West to Route 96 into Ithaca. Follow Route 96 to Route 96A at Ovid, to Routes 5 and 20 West into Geneva. At the second stoplight, turn right onto Castle Street. Take the first left (at the stop light) onto Exchange Street. Take a right onto Seneca Street. The Smith Opera House is located at 82 Seneca Street.
The fastest route from Westchester County, from the Tappan Zee Bridge, is via I-87 North to Exit 16. Take Route 17 West to Route 96 into Ithaca. From the south, Route 14 North from Elmira becomes Main Street in Geneva. Turn right at the second stop light onto Seneca Street. The Smith Opera House is located at 82 Seneca Street.
